North Texas Walk to Defeat ALS Breaks Record!

The sun was shining, the fall air was crisp, and cheers and laughter rang out.  These were the sights and sounds of the recent Walk to Defeat ALS™ events held across North Texas. The ALS Association was thrilled to welcome a record-breaking 148 walk teams and almost 2,000 walkers to this year’s events held in Lubbock on September 27, Fort Worth on October 18 and Dallas on October 25.  These events, which raise funds and awareness for the North Texas Chapter of the ALS Association, were an unprecedented success, raising an all-time high of more than $390,000.  The funds will support the work of the North Texas Chapter, serving more than 200 patients and families in 132 counties.
